Position Title: Healthcare Interoperability Developer/Engineer

Location : Remote

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Interoperability Developer/Engineer with expert-level proficiency in Mirth, Corepoint, and Rhapsody to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for converting Mirth-based integrations to Corepoint or Rhapsody, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining interoperability solutions within healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the conversion of existing Mirth-based integration solutions to Corepoint or Rhapsody platforms, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to data exchange workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze existing Mirth interfaces, and propose migration strategies aligned with business needs and industry standards.Develop and implement custom interfaces and connectors using Corepoint Integration Engine or Rhapsody Integration Engine to replace Mirth-based integrations and facilitate data exchange between healthcare systems.Configure and optimize Corepoint or Rhapsody platforms to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of converted integration solutions.Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning to validate the functionality and efficiency of converted interfaces.Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on migration best practices, standards, and regulations (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM).Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize interoperability workflows and minimize downtime.Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments in healthcare interoperability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of X years of experience in healthcare interoperability development and engineering. Expert proficiency in Mirth Connect, Corepoint Integration Engine, and Rhapsody Integration Engine. Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and protocols, including HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and X12. Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards and tools, such as CCD, CDA, CCDa, and DICOM. Proficient in programming languages and technologies commonly used in healthcare integration, such as JavaScript, Java, XML, and SQL. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Certifications in Mirth and Corepoint are required, with additional certifications in Rhapsody or other relevant healthcare interoperability platforms being a plus.
