The Role:

As a Looker Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Looker dashboards and reports that support our business intelligence needs. This role requires you to collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their data requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and create insightful visualizations. You will also be responsible for optimizing and maintaining the Looker platform to ensure high performance and reliability.

What you will do:

Develop and maintain Looker dashboards and reportsCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirementsTranslate business requirements into technical specificationsOptimize Looker queries and performanceEnsure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboardsProvide training and support to end-usersStay updated with Looker features and best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to LookerCoordinate with data engineers to integrate new data sources into Looker

Required Skills:

3-5 years of experience as a Looker Developer or similar roleProficient in LookML and SQLStrong understanding of data modeling conceptsExperience with ETL processes and data warehousingExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environmentTeam player with strong interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to have Skills:

Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or RedshiftFamiliarity with Python or R for data analysisKnowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or Power BIExperience with version control systems like Git

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent years of work experience

Salary Expectations:

$75-100k USD/ yearUp to 20% travel depending on client/project needsMust live in GA, FL, NC, TX, IN (If located outside said states, contract opportunity may be available)
