We are seeking a talented WordPress Plugin Developer to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. As a Plugin Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of the DefiniteSEO Plugin, contributing directly to its functionality and usability.Responsibilities:Collaborate with our product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and maintain new features for the DefiniteSEO Plugin using WordPress best practices.Optimize plugin performance and ensure compatibility with different WordPress versions.Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure seamless functionality across various environments.Implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard user data and plugin integrity.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing users of the plugin.Stay updated with industry trends and WordPress developments to suggest improvements and innovations.Requirements:Proven experience as a WordPress Plugin Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of plugin development projects.Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and APIs.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers (e.g., Composer).Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and priorities effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
