Wordpress Developer

Job Title: Custom WordPress Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites to ensure security and performance.- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into fully functional WordPress sites.- Optimize website performance for fast load times and high SEO rankings.- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.- Implement responsive design principles to ensure sites are mobile-friendly.- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of custom WordPress sites.- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and version control systems such as Git.- Familiarity with multiple builders, theme editing, and plugin editing and development.- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages.- Understanding of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced WordPress functionalities like custom post types, custom fields, and WooCommerce.- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.- Knowledge of website accessibility standards.- Experience with other CMS platforms and frameworks.
