ServiceNow Developer ( GRC )

GRC JD :

Working across ServiceNow modules like : ITSM, ITOM, GRC.Ø Working as a Dev engineer to deliver solutions for enhancements to be delivered in a sprint.Ø Working as an Ops engineer to fix bugs.Ø Working in larger projects as a developer to support initial implementation of new ServiceNow features.Ø Working in DevOps to maintain ServiceNow platform versions (ie. Release upgrades)Ø Knowledge transition from external implementation partners for new modulesØ Keep technical expertise up to date

Dimensions and Special Challenges :

Ø ServiceNow system used by entire Shell (100 000+ users) across the globeØ The current ServiceNow platform uses ITSM, ITBM & LSM modules with future modules like ITOM & GRC/SecOps being planned for implementation.Ø Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams and across many organizationalboundaries (within and across IT support and delivery organizations, incl. suppliers)Ø Managing multiple delivery priorities, multiple demand requests and complex (integration) issuesØ High degree of application, technology and SaaS landscape complexity and integration Ø Working as one team with business support teams to ensure seamless development and deployments of changes and maximum added value for the business by proposing continuous improvements in line with the business needs and strategy

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills :

Ø Hands On experience as a software engineerØ HTML5/CSS/AJAX/.Net/Java/Webservices/GlideRecordØ Client Side and Server Side Scripting / Client & Server API's/SaaS integration servicesØ ACL & debuggingØ COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf Software)Ø Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development and continuous deliveryØ Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and proceduresØ Understand incremental delivery and use metrics to track progress against the intended time-lineØ Experience in working in agile/scrum delivery teams/DevOpsØ Self-starter and able to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priorityØ Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organizationØ Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style, both face-to-face and virtuallyØ Good English communication skills both verbal and writtenØ 3-5 years software engineering
