Senior Back-end Python Developer

At Evolution AI, we’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Back-end Python Developer to join our remote team. You will be helping to build the next generation of our AI-based products and play a role in transforming the financial services industry. The role demands hands-on expertise with Python coupled with an interest in building Artificial Intelligence products.

Evolution AI sits at the heart of the AI community in London. We organise the largest community of AI practitioners in Europe, London Machine Learning, which has over 15,000 members. The company is research-focused, having received one of the largest grants for AI R&D from the UK government and working with academic partners from multiple universities. Location: Remote from Bulgaria Key Responsibilities:Guide the development of robust, scalable, and secure Python-based applications.Utilize Python, Docker, Flask, and PostgreSQL to construct and manage web-based applications.Integrate cloud technologies such as Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, Cloud RunWork with our research team to integrate AI models into production.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues connected to application development, deployment, and operations. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.At least 3 years experience as a Python Engineer or similar role in software development.Solid experience in linux and modern software development including Git, CI, unit-testing, etc. Preferred:Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.Experience in Machine Learning libraries and APIs such as PyTorch, GPT-4, Claude etc.Experience in Cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.An interest in DevOps workflow technology such as GitLab CI pipelines, Ansible etc.Experience developing data-intensive applications Remote Work Policy: At Evolution AI, we understand the importance of flexibility in today’s work environment.
