About the job:We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our ranks on a full-time basis.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldDevelopment experience, with exposure to technical competencies listed belowStrong analytical skillsFamiliarity with JIRA or related Atlassian technologyBackground from the online gaming industry – big advantageBe innovative, creative, curious, independent, great communicatorDemonstrates strong accountability.

Technical Competencies:Java 1.8 -5 years and aboveMicroservice architecture, SQL, Angular, RMQ, AWS and related toolsets - 5 years

Responsibilities:

DevelopmentParticipate in daily development stand up meetingsImplement solutions for new projects as defined or instructed by the sprint backlog in accordance with requirements, using technologies defined in the skills section belowMaintain code on existing solutionsImplement unit tests on existing and new projectsSubmissions and correction of code through the code version control systemsAdherence to processes and conventions defined by senior developers or as documented on the company wikiAdherence to the project workflows defined in the issue management systemPerform code reviewsMeet and maintain test coverage thresholds as defined by the development teamMeet and maintain solution performance thresholds when definedEnsure the ongoing correctness of project builds on the continuous build serverContribute to the on-going improvement of the software development life cycle within the businessContribute to the internal company wiki

TestingPrepare deployment packages for either QA or supportPerform testing on solutions before submitting to QAAssist QA in setting up test environmentsRespond to issues raised by QAAssist with testing against UAT and production environmentsLogging of issues in the issue of management system.
