The Crown Is Yours

DraftKings is growing quickly and we’re looking for a .NET Developer to develop one of the core technologies for the DraftKings Retail Product offering. In this role, you will develop and test scalable, efficient, and extensible software components and integrate them with already existing architecture. You’ll work closely with other engineers, architects, and product owners to maintain a high bar of quality across the entire organization. What you’ll do as a .NET Developer

Work with our teams of highly skilled and talented engineers and architects to create, design, and implement best-in-class Retail Sportsbook Software for our customers.Develop sophisticated and immersive sportsbook solutions, dashboard visualizations, and manipulate large and complex datasets for terminal and cashier experiences.

Product Development

Work closely with the product team to understand the product vision and design, and help bring that vision to life.Help create top-of-the-line features that drive DraftKings as a leading sportsbook and casino experience provider in the USA and internationally.

Engineering R&D

Develop scalable software components based on the latest .Net stack. Create services and APIs hosted on modern infrastructure with full automation capabilitiesWork with containerization, virtualization and CI/CD pipelines.Use relational and non-relational database systems.Define and create service metrics, alerts and dashboards.Drive innovation and ensure that our technology stack is relevant and aligned with the company’s goals.

Code Quality

Ensure that the codebase is well-organized, maintainable, and meets the high standards of the company.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other software engineers.

What you’ll bring

Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in designing, developing, and testing enterprise code.Strong knowledge of .NET framework (C#), ASP.NET and Web APIs.Experience in database development using SQL Server or other relational databases.Basic Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Experience with functional programming as well as containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes will be a major advantage.
