Job Description: Java Developer with Mainframe Experience (5-6 Years)

Should be able to Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.Should have mainframe experience to integrate legacy systems with modern Java applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.Should be able to transfer large amounts of data from the mainframe to distributed systems for processing during a hybrid state.Should be able to deploy a Quarkus API on the mainframe for batch job execution, having expertise in Cobol for understanding and debugging the application, as well as knowledge in Java, distributed systems.Should be able to run a Java container based program on a mainframe.Should Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and development tasks.Should conduct thorough code reviews, write unit tests, and participate in integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.Should be able to Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across Java and mainframe systems, providing timely solutions and support.Participate actively in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, to deliver high-quality software increments.

Good to have : Payment domain experience, COBOL
