You are familiar with the Shopify platform and know your way around HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Liquid. You'd consider your skills with these languages a fair bit above average.
You're comfortable setting up your development environment using best practice with a git repository.Taking supplied designs produced in Figma (or similar) and coding them up to display responsively and consistently across devices is something you've spent some time in the trenches doing already.
Skills required:Strong communication skills - This is a requirement on all roles at ShopCreatify. To be a good cultural fit in ShopCreatify, you will need to be crystal clear in your communication with other team members and clients.Self organized and conscientious - You will need to be good at managing your own time, managing expectations of colleagues by communicating clearly, sticking to agreed timelines and keeping your team mates informed of progress.Strong Shopify frontend development experience - You're more than just familiar with the Shopify platform and understand how stores' frontends are built on a code level. A minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience is likely required for this position dependent on your portfolio of past work, other experience and your speed of learning.
Advantageous:UI/UX design - Having a background/interest in design and user experience would definitely help your application.Backend Development - If you have skills in backend languages or frameworks like Ruby, React, Vue.js etc. this will be of benefit to your role with us, but certainly not imperative for this position.
