Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer

Our client is seeking an AEM Developer. The AEM Developer will work with the design, configuration, and implementation of AEM IC applications in high-volume environments. This role will be responsible for developing a solution using AEM IC within the AEM environment.

TasksCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and engineers to produce software designs for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Interactive Communications moduleFormulate program specifications and basic prototypesTransform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate languageIntegrate individual software solutions to higher level state systemsUse web-based tools to create and advance applicationsTest code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessaryPerform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficientCollaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user supportProvide knowledge transfer to state staff to maintain IC in the existing state environment

NOTE: The work is expected to be done remotely.

Location: RemoteContract: 1 year

Skills Required:5 years - Experience in Developer/Programmer role (A Master’s degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years, or an Associate’s degree substitutes for one year)2 - Engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role supporting AEM and Interactive Communications

Skills Desired – A plus to have:Proven experience as a programmer or relevant role to convert data logic-driven notices from AEM JEE process (formerly LiveCycle) to IC solutionsAbility to program in languages such as AEM, HTML, C++, Java (J2EE), XML, Python etc.Excellent knowledge with relational databases, SQL and ORM technologiesDemonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code
