Description
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Web Developer for a 4-month contract employment opportunity. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to specifications. Your role will require a strong understanding of Azure services to ensure seamless deployment and scalability of web applications.
Responsibilities
Develop responsive landing pages, modify website, troubleshoot PHP, CSS, Java Script & HTML Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement new features Collaborate with SEO Specialist on implementation and best practices Manage and update website content with consistency among different pages Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of graphic design styles, typography and layout techniques Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot through front end and backend design elements Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Work with cybersecurity to implement data protection measures. Optimize websites for scalability and monitor for web analytics Maintain comprehensive documentation of website updates, configurations and procedures. Provide training support as needed
Requirements
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related discipline 5+ years in web design and development or related experience Relevant experience in web development and management Relevant certifications or training in web development Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks/projects Proven experience writing modifying and integrating code for e-commerce and other internet applications Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Experience working with HTTP/Rest and client/server application development. Exposure to web development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
