About The Role

You will have the opportunity to work with our Global Team to provide quality services to external managed service clients as well as internal business units.  This job will offer you opportunities to work in diverse environments and be responsible for the provision of system support across multiple domains, design/quote/delivery projects as well as consulting and pre-sales opportunities. 

Work individually or within a team on software product consulting projects to meet specific customer requirements. May include support, maintenance, and administration. Work directly with the client and may travel to the client site. Provide technical direction and guidance to the delivery team and take responsibility for project deliverables through all phases of the SDLC.

You have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and appropriate tertiary qualifications with a passion for software development and working in a modern software development business which is customer centric.  Your proven, hands-on experience working with Agile Scrum teams includes organizing and managing scrum team(s) and working with product owner and other team leads to coordinate work productsYou are versed in software development with a background that includes but not limited to:Proficient with Oracle Databases, PL/SQL, SQL and performance tuning and a working knowledge of Oracle IDEs or similar.Experienced in or multiple of the following languages: C, ProC, Cobol, GO, PythonFull Stack Development with experience in or multiple of the following languages: Java, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Flutter.You have strong analytical and decision-making skills, a solid knowledge of databases and query language/tools, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and exposure to automation testing with Selenium, Cypress, Linux, PowerShell, Jenkins, Jira.Your educational background is in Software programming, Computer Science or Engineering, i.e. minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 

Key Responsibilities

You will help organize and manage scrum team(s) and provide requirements gathering, best practice information, estimates and timelines for work products that includes working with product owner and other team leads to coordinate work products.You will provide business cases and justifications for estimates and timelines and work with end use customers remotely and in person including Develop Technical Specifications documents.  You will design and help on programming of agreed developments/modifications to the system while assisting other developers in the design of their components by collaborating with Business Analysts to ensure understanding of client’s requirements.  You will be involved with unit testing of code and quality assurance of system and helping to resolve issues relating to the integration of project deliverables including system promotions to existing and new customers.  You will ensure established standards and procedures are followed at all times and diagnose and correct system defects including identifying situations where the system must be customized to meet client requirements
