Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust Smallworld GIS applications.Code, test, debug, and implement Magik scripts to enhance system functionality.Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide customised solutions.Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Smallworld Core Spatial Technology (CST) modules, especially S/W430.Experience working on geospatial projects.Knowledge of database management systems, especially in a GIS context.

A qualification in Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Smallworld Developer with expertise in Magik programming.Strong understanding of geospatial concepts and Smallworld GIS.Experience in the full software development life cycle, from design to deployment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
