ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the CTO to define, develop, and implement critical features for the MVP, ensuring that customer feedback informs our iterative development process.Build, optimize, and maintain backend systems, databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Temporal), and APIs to support the platform's communication and segmentation capabilities.Develop robust and efficient data flows to enable seamless segmentation and insights generation.Design scalable backend architectures that align with the requirements of a modern marketing platform.Implement new features following the scrum methodology, ensuring agile, transparent, and customer-focused development.Work independently on tasks, demonstrating initiative in learning and delivering high-quality solutions.Participate in code reviews, contribute to the team's technical knowledge base, and support overall product quality.

RequirementExperience in backend development, particularly with Python and TypeScript.Proficiency in working with databases like PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Temporal.Structured, detail-oriented, and excellent at communication, with a focus on delivering high-quality code.Self-motivated learner who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to contribute to Amplift's growth.Strong ability to work independently and effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Nice to HavesFamiliarity with Kafka - designing, implementing, and managing distributed streaming platformsBasic knowledge of LLMs, including RAG and prompt engineering.
