Responsibilities
Write neat, semantic, indented and thoroughly commented code for HTML, CSS and Javascript.Assist back-end developers with effective implementation of front-end templates, HTML, CSS and Javascript to develop e-commerce websites.Troubleshoot any front-end technical or performance issues that may arise.Self-manage development tasks and proactively raise issues, concerns and suggestions to the stakeholders.
MUST HAVE SKILL SETS
Good Command on Web development, HTML 5 and JavaScriptExperience in JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Knockout and native JS for DOM manipulationBasic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASSExperience in using CSS architecture patterns for code reusability and building reusable components/librariesExperience in developing UI for responsive websitesGood understanding of SEO principles and Web Content Accessibility GuidelinesGood understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalabilityProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitFamiliarity with task runners and build tools, such as Grunt or GulpStrong teaming and communication skills to collaborate with UX organization, back-end engineering and QA team.
GOOD TO HAVE
Experience in developing Shopify themes.1-2 years minimum experience with Magento 2.x Front End Development.Experience in CMS platforms such as WordPress.Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.Basic PHP knowledge.Understanding of ReactJS and PWA concepts
