Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Developer to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the US. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, integrating data from various sources, and optimizing our Power BI solutions for performance and usability. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to complete the work at your convenience, making it an ideal secondary job.

Key Responsibilities:Dashboard and Report Development:Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.Implement complex calculations and measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).Create custom visuals and interactive elements to enhance user experience.Data Integration and ETL:Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.Integrate Power BI with other databases and data services (e.g., SQL Server, Azure, Excel).Data Modeling:Design and develop data models to support business needs.Create and manage relationships between data sets.Optimize data models for performance and usability.Performance Tuning:Optimize Power BI reports for performance.Implement best practices for data loading and visualization.Security and Governance:Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) within Power BI.Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies.Collaboration:Work closely with IT teams and other developers to ensure seamless data integration.Assist in the deployment of Power BI solutions across the organization.

Qualifications:Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from various sources.Solid understanding of database management and SQL.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Flexibility to complete work at your convenience, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
