Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Web Developer with a strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in web development and be capable of working independently to design and implement web solutions tailored to internal use cases.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications for internal use.Design and maintain interactive user interfaces using Core JS, HTML, and CSS.Enhance and modify existing demo websites to incorporate GenAI functionalities, particularly for chat purposes.Optionally utilize Python for backend development, where beneficial (can also be done in typescript)Integrate Norstella’s data science APIs, including AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions.Utilise WebSockets and REST APIs to ensure smooth and efficient communication between front-end and back-end systems.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solutions meet business needs.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when necessary.

QualificationsExperience: 7+ years in web development with a strong focus on Core JS, HTML, and CSS.Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Python is beneficial but not mandatory.APIs and AWS Hands-on experience with API integration, particularly AWS API Gateway and Lambda functions.Web Communication: Experience with WebSockets and REST APIs.Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and design solutions on the go.Adaptability: Comfortable modifying existing demo websites to suit new requirements, particularly for GenAI applications.

Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with GenAI technologies and their application in web development.Strong understanding of web security best practices.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
