Role: Lead Full Stack Developer Location: Chicago, IL-RemoteMust-haves 3+ years of React and NodeJS and NextJS development3+ years of Java developmentExperience being in a leadership role, not having direct reports but advising and leading on the programming efforts - 5+ years of overall Front End Development and FSD - Fast paced, fast growing team releasing a few things a week in an Agile environment - Developing a customer based application is a must - Understanding accessibility/WCAG standards - Working CST hours Day-to-Day:This is a Lead Full Stack Developer programming role doing full stack development work (60% FE, 40%BE). They will guide junior developers and advise on the programming efforts. They will be working within the booking team for a global hotel chain. There will be a daily standup, grabbing tickets to work on doing peer reviews, participating in agile meetings, working on tickets helping other developers to guide them with their development. The application they are developing is a React application with NodeJS for a “search and browse” application. They are including some GenAI/AI products as well. There is Dream Map and search results page that customers use to showing the hotels, selecting the one for which location they choose. The biggest project is GenAI and then the posts calendar, finding how many points they should use on a hotel to show awards, have the same thing for cash including different rates for different hotels.
