Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Job Overview:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer with a robust technical background and a passion for crafting scalable, resilient software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and a track record of success in developing within the Microsoft .NET technology stack, with a particular focus on building containerized microservices on cloud platforms. As a senior member of our development team, you will play a critical role in framework development, production support, and the mentoring of junior developers. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our business capabilities into the future while ensuring the highest standards of code quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:1. Decompose current and future business capabilities into containerized microservices on Cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure.2. Develop and maintain framework components that standardize common coding patterns across projects.3. Provide vital support and troubleshooting for production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.4. Engage in rigorous unit and integration testing to maintain high code coverage and software quality.5. Collaborate with business analysts to accurately gather requirements and formulate detailed technical specifications.6. Conduct and participate in code reviews, both in group settings and for individual pull requests, to maintain coding standards.7. Offer guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications:- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on the Microsoft .NET framework and C# programming language.- Proficiency in Visual Studio and familiarity with .NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.- Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and SQL scripting.- Expertise in unit testing, mocking techniques, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.- Strong grasp of design patterns, their applications, and best practices.- Skilled in service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices-based architecture.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Python, and PowerShell scripting.- Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.- Proficiency in utilizing JIRA as an ALM tool.- Experience with Control M and RedGate for job configuration and deployment cycle management.

Tools and Technologies:- Microsoft Azure cloud services- .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework- Visual Studio IDE- SQL Server and related database tools- Azure DevOps, GitHub- JIRA, Microsoft Visio, Confluence (nice to have)- Kafka (nice to have)- Front-end technologies: Angular.js, JavaScript, CSS, HTML

Education and Certifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.- Microsoft or other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
