Shopify Developer

We are seeking a talented and versatile individual with expertise in Shopify development, advanced coding skills in JavaScript and Liquid, and a keen eye for modern UI/UX design. This role requires a professional who can create engaging and seamless user experiences across our digital platforms. Experience in video editing and animation is a plus, as we aim to enhance our websites with custom animations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST With 1 hour unpaid break

Salary: 1,625 USD per month (to be paid in candidate/applicant's local currency)

Responsibilities:Shopify Development:Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites using Liquid and JavaScript.Implement modern and responsive UI/UX designs that provide a seamless user experience.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend website functionality.Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.Maintain and update existing Shopify themes and templates.UI/UX Design:Create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs that align with brand guidelines.Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design and functionality across digital platforms.Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the user experience.Video Editing and Animation (Preferred):Edit and create videos for website content and marketing purposes.Develop custom animations to enhance website interactivity and user engagement.Ensure video and animation content aligns with overall design and branding strategies.Work with the design and marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life through video and animation.

Requirements:Proven experience in Shopify development with strong coding skills in Liquid and JavaScript.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.Demonstrated ability to design modern, responsive, and user-centric UI/UX.Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Advanced Coding skills in Liquid and Javascript (Non-negotiable)
