Geographic Information System Developer

Job Role: GIS Development expert Location: Raleigh, NC 27610 (Remote role) Duration: 12+ Months

Pay: $70-80/hr all-inclusive

GIS Programmer/Developer to assist with the rewrite of the SPOT Online Application. This person willbe the lead developer of the application, implementing requirements from the SPOT Business unit and actively communicating with the GIS Unit’s BusinessAnalyst.

This person also oversees upgrades to the SPOT OnlinePrioritization 8.0 application’s upgrades, including an update from JavaScriptAPI 3.0 to JavaScript API 4.0.

This resource will maintain andsupport 7 instances/stages for development and improvement of the application,troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades.

This resource will developand maintain web services currently hosted by EAD and work with the GISArchitecture Team to upgrade hardware and enhance usability of system and theintegration with other systems.
