How will I make an impact?

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing software, designs, ideas or related technology for our customers. The Senior Frontend Developer will work with the broader engineering team and other departments to understand the needs of the business and plan to ensure the delivery of quality software.

Our Stack: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, OpenSearch, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins.

Day in the Life:

Technical SkillsExpertise with React (8+ years experience)Significant experience with React Router/Remix, TypeScript, and CSS.Experience writing unit tests with Jest or Vitest and React Testing Library.Consistently writes concise production-ready code that is easily testable, understandable, maintainable, and handles edge cases and errors.Eye for good design and user experience.Proactively improves UI to meet i18n and a11y requirements.Rapidly learns required technologies and delivers robust solutions. Works independently and delivers quality code without assistance.Communication SkillsEffectively explains complex technical concepts and challenges to non-technical audiences.Exhibits active listening, promotes thought diversity, curiosity and collective improvement.Communicates, encourages, and enforces standards such as coding standards and other standards to which Shinydocs may be committed to following. Shares knowledge with others and develops strong working relationships with other departments and stakeholders.Delivery SkillsUtilizes Agile to deliver projects with structure, flexibility, and predictability.Strives to meet deadlines.
