Full Stack Drupal Developer

About The Job

One of Esteemed's mission-driven partners is seeking a Full-Stack Drupal Developer to support a late-breaking opportunity and provide maintenance for our existing Drupal 10 site hosted on Pantheon.

Latin America and US time-zone is preferred. We'll need this person to collaborate with the US-based team.

This contract will run from August 1st through the end of the year. It could extend depending on how other project work goes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Front-End and Back-End development, with extensive experience in Drupal. You will be responsible for ensuring the website remains up-to-date, secure, and fully functional. The goal is to rebuild the site in 2025 although that part of the project isn't signed yet.

We're looking for a developer with expertise in Drupal performance optimization. The site is not as performant as it needs to be and we need to diagnose the issues -- is caching broken? Are there FE issues? Are there Drupal configuration best practices that are not being followed? This developer should be able to speak to performance optimization efforts they have lead previously.

Key Responsibilities

Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the existing Drupal 10 site hosted on Pantheon.Develop new features and functionality to enhance the user experience.Troubleshoot and resolve website issues on time.Perform regular updates and ensure the website is secure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Optimize website performance and scalability.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on Drupal.Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.Experience with Drupal 10 development and maintenance.Familiarity with Pantheon hosting and deployment workflows.Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other CMS platforms.Understanding of web accessibility standards.Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
