About The Team

The biggest companies in the world use Maestro ( known formerly as RapidResponse ) every day to solve their supply chain challenges. Our team owns its incredibly powerful supply chain planning engine. This engine stores and serves the data and performs calculations with incredible speed, accuracy and reliability.

We’ve just embarked on an ambitious and transformational project to put cloud first - modernize our planning engine and update it with the newest technologies and approaches. It’s a greenfield project with constraints to ensure we support all our existing customers. We’re unleashing the team’s creativity and innovation to support more users, more customers, more data, more calculations, faster performance.

What you will do

Design, prototype, research Write code that implements your designs and other people’s designs Balance complexity, execution time and memory footprint to deliver performant code Participate in our agile process to continually improve delivery, quality and reliability Contribute to a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables

Technologies we use

Docker, Kubernetes Linux C++ We are also looking at Go and other cloud-related technologies

What we are looking for

Strong skills and extensive experience writing enterprise software with several object-oriented programming languages, ideally including one or more of C++, Go and/or Rust Ability to understand C++ code or willingness to learn A demonstrated history of learning new languages and technologies as needed Willingness to work in multiple languages High- and low-level design skills Experience with query engines, query languages, parsers is an asset Cloud exposure and Kubernetes experience are desirable as is experience with software that scales horizontally Post-secondary degree in Computer Science (or related) and 5+ years development experience
