D365 Lead Developer

Description: We are hiring for a Lead D365 Developer. This is a 6 month contract to hire.

Update and create Power Automate workflows on their Dynamic 365 Sales Application for RSM Alliance. RSM Dynamics is solely on D365 Cloud. Their CRM sales application integrates with SharePoint and a Power Pages portal that end clients access for their services. There is also an integration to CRM to track information about the clients, and information that RSM supplies to them. The system is a knowledge share- other accounting firms come to RSM as an expert and they provide them accounting standards, etc.

Responsibilities

Closely work with client’s business development managers to gather and understand client functional requirements. Create 2-week sprints for software development and testing along with Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Release schedules.Design and integrate business processes and data flows between Dynamics 365, PowerApp Portals, Cloud Flows, and Model-Driven Apps.Design and develop Azure DevOps (CI/CD) Pipelines to streamline the Dynamics 365 deployment process.Work on JS and C# (Plug-ins) for updating Model-Driven Apps and Console Application.Work closely with the QA team and facilitate deployment for every sprint release.Move Dataverse data to Azure SQL using Azure Synapse Link, Azure Data Lake, and Storage accounts.Update CoE Starter Kit to Dynamics environments.Actively participate in daily stand-ups, Architecture Review Board meetings, Daily Lead Sync, and weekly perusals with state health officials and sprint planning sessions.

Daily Essential Duties

30% - Leadership of developers and sometimes others through project development phase. Requires planning, delegation, and status with management. Able to see beyond the specific project and advise leadership of issues, risks, and more strategic methods to implement the project. Influences peers and networks well across the IT organization and into the Business organization.20% - Design and development of software on various Web and Cloud based platforms. Uses available technologies to create reusable, scalable, and maintainable systems and components. 15% - Analysis of existing systems, implementation of requirements and change requests into design deliverables.15% - Communication with project team members including assisting QA with testing of software, assist business analyst lead and project management with estimation, planning, and project status, and assistance with identifying project issues and risks. 10% - Review, validation, and interpretation of business and non-functional requirements. Interaction with Business Analysts and Business contacts.5% - Other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills

Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, C#, .NET, ASP.NET Microsoft Azure and Azure SASS (Key Vault, App Configuration, Service Bus, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Functions, Storage Accounts, etc.) Docker containers and AKS experience REST API Concepts Unit and Integration Tests JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SharePoint Entity Framework, Visual Studio, VS Code

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Presenting in Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings to demonstrate the changes, impact and purpose of the changes to getting approvals for deployment to the public cloud. Gathering functional requirements from the business. Creating project plans that include hourly estimates by task and milestones to serve as a guide throughout the project.
