SAP BODS Developer

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BODS Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining SAP BODS ETL workflows, scripts, and routines. The role requires expertise in data extraction and loading across various formats and databases, including HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Microsoft Azure and SAP Information Steward.

Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain SAP BODS ETL workflows, scripts, and routines.Use SAP BODS designer for data extraction and loading in various formats and databases such as HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server.Work with SAP BODS for data extraction into SAP using ODP extractors, remotely enabled FM, and iDocs.Utilize SAP BODS in conjunction with Microsoft Azure for data operations in Azure Data Lake Storage.Create and manage rules, schedule tasks, and monitor results using SAP Information Steward.Optimize SAP BODS performance through parallel processing, multithreading, partitioning, and enhancing database throughputs.Write complex SQL queries to troubleshoot ETL process issues and provide technical support.Apply data warehouse concepts, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), dimensions, and facts.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS development.Proficient in using SAP BODS designer and working with databases like HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server.Experience with SAP BODS data extraction methods, including ODP extractors, remotely enabled FM, and iDocs.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Data Lake Storage.Strong understanding of SAP Information Steward, including rule creation, task scheduling, and result monitoring.Expertise in performance optimization techniques for SAP BODS.Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and technical support.Knowledge of data warehouse concepts such as SCD, dimensions, and facts.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other ETL tools and technologies.SAP certification or equivalent training.Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services.
