Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and implement APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for the counties/WYDOTDesign, develop, test, and implement Interfaces (external interfaces that interact with the Motor Vehicle system)Qualifications (Mandatory):Strong experience with the following:API designCross-platform developmentMultiple coding languages: Java, Python, Ruby, and C++.Integration knowledge - integrating APIs with databases, servers, and other systems.API development tools (Postman, Swagger, and Apigee)Experience with testing systems and documenting resultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in an iterative environmentQualifications (Nice to have)Knowledge of Motor Vehicle processes and data (e.g., Title and Registration)Knowledge of AAMVA interfaces (particularly NMVTIS)
