Help to win WWDC 2025
We are a team of engineers with a backlog and need to bring another person on board for a period of 3-6 months or longer.
We are looking for an engineer who has built about 6 applications within the last 3 years and has worked within a professional SDLC, from mockups and data models to application testing and delivery. This person should have a solid understanding of the SDLC, including accepting mockups (Figma), reading and clearing scopes/specs, making Git commits (with team sync) , and manual testing via TestFlight. Your experience could have been freelance or contract work with a firm, which we would like to understand in your application form. We do train during the onboarding but basic soft skills must be present.

Required Skills: We will test the core required and discuss the others Firestore (CRUD ops, Optimization. Indexing, Security) Firebase Auth with JWT (Multi-Tenant Security Models)3rd Party APIs like OpenAI, Twilio, or others (with long-running processes)Data design patterns, understanding the balance with UI/UX latencyiOS Frameworks: Anything common in basic applications.You have used Figma, Postman, Firebase, and Firestore and can clear a Scope.
In simple terms, you can build CRUD applications and have no challenges with Get, Post, Puts (CRUD)
Hiring Process:
Step 1: We will conduct a chat interview with each person who has the required skills. We will also share a checklist for you to view online.
If shortlisted, you will meet with a Team Leader.
Step 2: The interview is a presentation and conversation about your experiences and core skills. You would be required to demonstrate each of the minimal required skills using Xcode and completed applications. Your presentation is simply of your working applications to showcase your experience and skills. We will also discuss how you work and our SDLC. If it goes well, we will discuss the next step.
Step 3: The test case and start of onboarding - You would be required to create the most minimal test case as outlined together with a team lead. Once delivered and passing, we make you a Job offer and start the Onboarding 4 week process.

How to Prepare for the Interview or Step 2:Be prepared with demonstrable Xcode applications/sources. If you do not have any applications of your own that we can see and verify your working skills/experience, please hold off on applying until you do.Clear any doubts or anxious questions about the interview with us before moving past Step 2. This will help calm your nerves and make the experience easy and enjoyable (even though we all know HR can be boring).
