FileMaker Developer

Scope of Work:The FileMaker Developer will be responsible for supporting the application design and development of a robust Application Program Interface with RMS vendors. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of formal Software Development Methodologies (SDM).Specific Services Required:Develop software in compliance with established Architecture Standards and Methodologies.Acquire detailed knowledge of vendors software and systems to facilitate troubleshooting, tracking, and resolving of application and system-related issues.Document design and code structures in accordance with the SDM.Design applications in accordance with Architecture Standards.Map application design components to a Requirements Traceability Matrix.Participate in conducting code and peer reviews of developed software.Develop and execute Unit Test plans.Participate in the development and execution of System Integration test plans.Assist in the development and execution of User Acceptance test plans.Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Release Strategy and plan.Participate in the creation, execution, and maintenance of the Restoral/Recovery Plan.Support application version control, software libraries, and documentation.Load and migrate new software builds across environments.Identify defects and report them into the defect management tool.Coordinate software defect remediation.Design, execute, and maintain Performance test cases and scenarios.Develop performance test metrics and Test Summary Reports.Create Request for Service (RFS) tickets for Help Desk as needed for development and support issues.Knowledgeable of all facets of SDM and assist the team with SDM compliance activities.Fulfill System Development Methodology Developer duties.Foster cooperation and coordination among various stakeholders.Adhere to Enterprise Architecture Technology Standards, Global Justice Reference Architecture (JRA), National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), and other relevant industry standards.Participate in review activities ensuring application compliance with Architecture standards.Provide technical consultation to agencies and programming help for vendors technology teams.Participate in Technical Review Board (TRB) design reviews.Contribute to Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning.Perform duties as assigned by the Program Manager or Technical Code Development Manager.Required Skills/Experience:The ideal candidate should have a solid Software Development background with the skills and abilities to foster and ensure cooperation and coordination among various partners. The required skills for this position are:Minimum 5 years of experience programming in a 3rd generation language and knowledge of software design patterns.Proficiency with FileMaker, MySQL.Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, Ubuntu.Programming Languages: JavaScript, PHP, CSS3, CSS, HTML5, HTML, JQuery.Tools and Technologies: Postman, Amazon Web Services, CodeIgniter, LAMP, FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go, FileMaker Server.
