We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and lead the modernization of our existing web applications and customer migration strategy. You'll play a key role in taking our legacy website builder application codebase to the latest Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks, while simultaneously guiding our customers through a smooth transition to our new applications.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

Analyze and understand the functionality of our existing Java and JavaScript codebase.Identify opportunities to improve code maintainability, performance, and security.Refactor and migrate legacy code components to utilize the latest Java (including features from Java 8+) and Spring Boot best practices.Modernize the frontend experience by upgrading JavaScript libraries to enhance user experience and interactivity.Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability during the upgrade process.Collaborate with the development team to ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer.Deep understanding of HTML and CSS layouts to effectively migrate customers' websites and functionalities to our new applications.Develop and implement comprehensive customer migration strategies to minimize disruption and ensure a positive user experience.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in full-stack development, application modernization, and customer migration strategies.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.Strong proficiency in Java (including Core Java and Java 8+) and Spring Boot.In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES5/ES6+)Familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.Experience in code refactoring, migration practices, and HTML/CSS layout manipulation.Understanding of web application security best practices (OWASP Top 10 a plus).Understanding and familiarity with the web accessibility standards and their levels (A, AA, and AAA)Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of clean code principles.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
