C# Application Developer (Fully Remote) [BHJOB13022_13332]

On behalf of our private sector client in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an experienced C# Application Developer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The role is fully remote and can be located anywhere across Canada as long as the candidate is willing to work PST hours.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain browser-based applications using C# and the .NET framework.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.Develop and maintain back-end components, focusing on systems development and integration.Work with SQL and SQL Server to design, implement, and optimize database solutions.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve performance and usability.Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Must-haves

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a C# developer working on browser-based applications.Strong understanding of the .NET framework, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server.Experience with RESTful API development and integration.Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices.Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Nice-to-have

Basic knowledge of ERP systems.Experience with API functionality (e.g., using Postman).Experience with SaaS applications.Experience with Azure cloud platform.Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
