Back End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in the Python programming language. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in the Go programming language and optionally in Java. A strong background in deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes is essential. As a Backend Developer at Scaling Smart, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services using Python and Go. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Ensure the implementation of security and data protection best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug applications. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualification:

Proven experience as a Backend Developer. Mastery of the Pyhthon programming language. Proficiency in Go programming; experience with Java is a plus. Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns. Experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Mastery of deployment with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Understanding of container orchestration and management. Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
