Python Developer

Python DeveloperOutside – IR35Fully RemoteDay Rate: £275-£3006 months initial contract with possible extension We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in developing Plugins using Python and possess expertise in any of the following monitoring technologies/tools: Checkmk (Preferred and recommended), Zabbix, Nagios XI and OP5. Roles & Responsibilities:· Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Python.· Software developer to create a custom, continuous integration between resource scheduling tool and project management tool using Python and RESTful APIs. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.· Implement error handling, logging, and failure recovery mechanisms to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the integration solution.· Increase performance and optimise consistency

Required Skills and Experience:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.· Minimum 5+ years of Proven experience in Python, with a focus on Plug-in Development.· Proven experience in Python programming and RESTful API development.· Strong Experience in any of the similar monitoring tools like Checkmk (Preferred and recommended), Zabbix, Nagios XI and OP5.· Experience with API integration, data mapping, and real-time synchronisation techniques.· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.· Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems.
