As a vital member of the team, you'll be pivotal in evolving our software products, crafting significant amounts of high-quality code, steering projects from conception to completion, refining our processes, and guiding the next wave of talent. This role will be hybrid based out of our Boston office and you will report to the Tech Lead.

QualificationsProficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate and collaborate with US counterparts.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.5 years of professional software development experience at companies with 10 or more developers.Experience in creating robust, performant backend services and APIs, with a strong understanding of server-side languages and frameworks (competence in Python, Django, and Postgres is a plus).Understanding of cloud hosting offerings and experience deploying and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure components (knowledge of Azure, Docker, and Terraform is a plus).Proficiency using IDEs (PyCharm or Visual Studio), support tools (code analysis AI, log analyzers), and colleagues (us!) to debug quickly and deploy rapidly.Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
