Senior PHP Developer

Senior PHP Developer – UK-based Fully Remote – £55,000-60,000 – SaaS

We are looking for a highly experienced senior full stack PHP developer to join our clients technical team in a full-time role on a fully remote basis. If you are a great team player, a problem solver, and enjoy writing modern, clean, highly performant code, and have worked on SaaS systems and/or software products – please get in touch!

You will be joining a development team of 7 and will focus on improving existing functionality within the product admin dashboard and backend as well as developing new features.You will need to be comfortable with large scale refactoring of existing code and not be dependent on any specific PHP framework. Attention to detail, the ability to contribute and communicate ideas with a drive to create elegant, effective solutions is essential. Experience of deploying and migrating existing codebases to AWS is highly desirable.

About you:At least 5 years commercial experience as a senior developerExcellent working knowledge of pure PHP 8.2Experience in deploying/migrating codebases to AWSFamiliarity with PHP frameworks such as Yii, Laravel or SymfonyMySQL- designing performant database schemaDocker/Webpack/GitRoot cause analysis skillsA positive, can-do attitude

Desirables:Have previously worked as part of a SaaS and or product development teamjsFirebaseFrontend experience, including JS frameworks such as Vue/Angular
