Senior Oracle Database developer - Full Remote - Contractor in USD

For an international organization, we are looking for a Full Remote Senior Oracle Database developer.

Candidates need to be willing to work normal European office hours. This positions is long-term.

Tasks and responsibilities:Assist in designing high performance, high availability database systems;Develop XML and SQL script-based procedures;Code the extract, transform, and load routines using PL/SQL and SQL Server Integration Services;Develop UNIX shell scripts and/or Windows batch files to facilitate in the extraction, movement, and loading of transactional data;Maintain and enhance existing Oracle-based Data warehouse structures;Maintain SQL loader scripts uploading to the Oracle;Maintain product documentation, production configuration and technical documentation including logical and physical database designs, metadata, and production procedures;Regularly monitor database performance and tune it as needed;

Profile:Master degree:+5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Programming;Proven experience in Data warehouse projects and requirements gathering;Proven experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting;Experience with integrating Oracle and Azure and SQL Server;Advanced knowledge of Oracle internals and database tuning including hands-on experience creating database schemas, tablespaces, and all other related DDL;Strong analytical skills needed for gap analysis and source to target mapping;Fluent in English;
