Job Title: Jr. ServiceNow DeveloperDuration: FulltimeLocation: India / RemoteNo. of Positions: 12-3 yrs. of experience.Shift timings – 2pm to 11 pm IST (40 hrs. week full time resources) – should be available for on-call rotation during critical project releases and hyper-care times.JOB OVERVIEW:As a Jr. ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization's business needs.With a minimum of 2-3 years of experience, you will leverage your expertise in ServiceNow development to design and implement solutions, integrate systems, and enhance the overall functionality of the platform.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and project managers, to translate requirements into technical solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and other functionalities to support business processes and requirements.Configuration and Customization: Customize ServiceNow platform components such as forms, fields, tables, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts to enhance user experience and meet specific business needs.Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, databases, and external applications using REST, SOAP, or other integration methods.Automation: Identify opportunities for automation within the ServiceNow platform and develop solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.Incident and Problem Management: Collaborate with the IT Service Management (ITSM) team to develop and maintain effective incident, problem, and change management processes within ServiceNow.Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics within ServiceNow to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.Testing and Deployment: Perform thorough testing of developed solutions, including unit testing, system testing, and integration testing, and ensure successful deployment to production environments.Documentation and Training: Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures. Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users as needed.Best Practices and Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with ServiceNow platform upgrades, new features, and industry best practices. Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform components, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management.Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and workflows.Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, or other web service protocols.Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams.ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), are a plus
