Hi! We are the Omnevo Core Team. The most important thing for us is that no one gets stuck on a problem alone. That’s why we all pull together and work on eye-level. We like to do complicated things in pair programming. Last but not least, we take the necessary time for personal development and try to keep up on new technology and methods.

Mostly our team works remotely, but there are always a few colleagues in our beautiful office in Wiesbaden and we often spend hours together in a Zoom trying to simulate an office setting – and meet in e.g. “Comfort Seating Area”… ask us, if you’re curious about that ;).For very special events we all travel to Wiesbaden 1-2 times a year.

Your job

You work in a cross-functional team of engineers who own the e-commerce platformYou work on the customer facing and internal frontend components of our product in close collaboration with the backend engineersYou contribute to troubleshooting, bug fixing and help identify bottlenecks as well as improve software efficiencyYou design, develop and deploy features and integrate them with a focus on high availability and scalabilityYou provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and external partners during integration and deployment phasesYou share your knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate with engineers, testers and product owners in the companyYou work in an environment that supports your individual growth

What you bring along

You are an experienced frontend developer working with React.js (we use Next.js and GraphQL) and having an eye on accessibilityYou have a willingness to touch Go code and extend your knowledge in this area (no previous experience is required)Additional experience with technologies such as Kubernetes is a plusYou know and care about engineering practices like continuous integration and automated testing (we use Gitlab CI, Playwright and Cypress)You are interested in improving your own skills and those of others by sharing knowledge. Our goal is to enhance resilience by sharing best practices.
