POSITION SUMMARY
Serve as a part of an IT Service Management (ITSM) team in a highly regulated environment supporting our client. Work with the team to comprehend requirements and develop solutions based on system capabilities, industry best practices, and the preferred outcome. Work in a small agile team, using ServiceNow to deliver and maintain technology solutions that improve operational efficiency with a focus on process improvement and automation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Configure, customize, integrate and support solutions on the ServiceNow platform as it relates to ITSM, ITOM, Service Portal, Workflows, and other functions to meet business needs. Perform ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB maintenance Create and implement workflows, Business rules, client scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Portal Pages, report setup, and data imports and exports. Perform daily administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of any issues arising in the ServiceNow environment. Work in and agile methodology and participate in agile ceremonies providing insight and expertise in level of effort, timeline, and status updates Excellent communications skills required – verbally and written with all levels of IT and business management
Software Requirements
Expertise and experience with ServiceNow and a focus on experience with discovery, and configuration management (CMDB) is required. Expertise with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
Experience Requirements
2-5 years’ experience
Education Requirements
Certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator and products such as Discovery, and ITOM are preferred
