About Role - Remote Senior Backend Developer (Node.js, MEAN Stack)

As our Remote Senior Backend Developer (Node.js, MEAN Stack), you’ll be responsible for:

Designing and implementing high-performance scalable backend microservices solution using Node.jsDesigning and deploying high-performance applicationsImplementing the various integration APIs requiredOwn continuous improvement and fine-tuning of API performance, scalability, latency, and securityEstimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impactYou’ll help shape the product by leading the overall design and development of the technical solution, owning the technical strategy and how it evolvesShine with engineering excellence by developing test infrastructures, writing documentation, ensuring high performance, and following an agile development methodologyEnsure development best practices are followed (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, code reviews)Actively communicate with the stakeholders, team members, and clients

What do we value?

+5 years of experience in software development using Node.js / TypeScript / JavaScriptHave a solid understanding of how integrations of 3rd party tools happenYou’ll have a sound knowledge of frameworks, software architecture, scalability, design patterns,latency and databasesExperience using GCP technologies or similar cloud-based solutionsHave an understanding of serverless and microservices architecture Have passion to work in small startups and able to take ownership and accountability of the product,Ability to work efficiently - use 3rd party libraries, be able to prioritize tasks based on business requirements/customer prioritiesAbility to work in a diverse, multicultural, remote-team environmentGreat communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic.Able to proactively communicate with non-technical stakeholders, manage expectations, and explain the value of addressing technical debt
