Job Duties

VM Consolidated, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Developer (Commercial Services) in Jersey City, NJ to develop, validate, and maintain large, enterprise-class applications written in Microsoft technologies, and Relational/Non-Relational Databases; Understand full life cycle development including data modeling, database architecture and development, unit testing and product support; Evaluate existing database structures and recommend improvements; Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or technical questions; train end users and technical support staff as required; Convert user stories into application logic, reports, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems; Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements; Collaborate with multiple development, design, and analyst teams to solve problems; Contribute in the implementation of improvements across organization product base.

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires 5 years of experience in: C#, ASP NET, Net Core, Javascript, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle PL/SQL. Requires 2 years of experience in: .NET MVC, Entity Framework. Requires 1 year of experience in: Azure Cloud (Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure Function etc.); and ETL/Reporting (SSIS/SSRS).
