Scala Developer/ Scala Engineer

Job Description - Project - This is a merger/migration of ecosystems. Previously the team was running on a platform called Rally Health. This was the RVO ecosystem. Now the need is to sunset that ecosystem and migrate what they can into a new ecosystem that is compatible with UHG's environment. There are different specific aspects that are getting lost and need to migrate. These include but are not limited to Login (moving to HSIC), Eligibility Services, Identity management/Authentication, etc… Trying to chart a path to complete this by end of the year or beginning of 2025. Will be working alongside FTE's on the team. Technical Stack ScalaJavaSpringbootMicroservicesKubernetes (Nice to have)MySQL (Nice to have)Kafka (Will help win) / Nice to have. Will likely just be replicating existing code. AWS - Some experience here. No Terraform or specific services. Just able to work in AWS environment and deploy code.
