Job Description :

Proficiency in writing and maintaining Progress code.Ability to write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.Knowledge of database admin tasks like schema management, indexing and performance tuning.Experience in integrating Progress applications with external systems using technologies like APIs, SOAP, ODBC/JDBC.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in Progress applications and databases.Willingness to learn new Progress technologies and adapt to changes in progress ecosystem.Working experience with OpenEdge 11.x and 12.x, OpenEdge App Server, PASOE.Database performance monitoring and optimization tuning.Experience with database security, encryption.Previous experience with migrating from one version of Progress DB to another.Experience analyzing business requirements, generate DB schema recommendations, create detailed technical designs. Performance tuning experience to reduce DB processing times.Substantial hours overlap to Central/Eastern US time zones.
