AIS is looking for a passionate cleared Software Developer interested in assisting our defense client with modernizing their software solutions. We have multiple software developer positions open, all 100% on-site using cutting edge cloud technologies to assist with requirements gathering and modernizing mission applications. The work will be in a team environment, so we are looking for someone with demonstrated experience collaborating across organizational boundaries. As a developer, you will work to collect requirements, test, debug and enhance web capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing

The positions for software developers vary with our customer. Some openings focus on Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) product integration, where others focus on custom software and web-application tools. This position will be a part development team. The team shall comply with the Lean Agile methodology and participate in all scrums, sprints and grooming sessions. The Developer will design, develop and develop solutions that optimize efficiency. You will ensure tasks are completed on schedule and work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors and collaborate to provide systems information, and technical support for security, operations, engineering and testing. The Developer shall understand the cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure. The Developer shall create, manage and update Jira tickets.

Developing front-end applications with Java.Experience developing software using languages such as JavaScript.Use of markup languages such as JSON, CSS and HTML.Use of strongly typed programming language concepts.Developing in an Integrated Development Environment such as Eclipse.Demonstrated experience developing detailed design and associated deliverables. Demonstrated experience translating customer and system requirements into design.Demonstrated hands-on experience developing RESTful web services using Java 8+ or other technologies such as Spring Framework 4+, or Spring Security 4+Demonstrated experience working with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB. Demonstrated hands-on experience with and troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, or SSL.Demonstrated hands-on experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests. Demonstrated experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.Demonstrated hands-on experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus

Nice to have Skills

Demonstrated recent experience with the Sponsor’s Lean Agile methodology. 12.The Contractor shall have demonstrated experience using ErDoS for reporting sprint MVI burn-up and top line charts, as well as MVI features and user stories. Demonstrated experience with CFS, FSS, TagIt, KnoMAD, and TagIt digest.
