Magento Developer

A Magento Developer is responsible for developing and customizing the user interface of an eCommerce website. They work closely with the design team and front-end developers to create visually appealing and functional user interfaces that enhance the user experience and drive business goals.

Main Responsibilities: Developing custom themes and templates for websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Write custom re-usable components and modules for Magento or AEM-based websites.Customizing Magento's or AEM core functionality to create unique user interfaces.Testing and debugging code to ensure that it works consistently across different devices, browsers, and operating systems.Build responsive websites that function perfectly on any device or browser size.Collaborating with the design team to ensure that the user interface aligns with the brand's visual identity and standards.Collaborate with both UX/UI Web Designers and Backend Developers to bridge the gap – between graphical design and technical implementation in order to complete projects, websites, platforms, and other web experiences.Conducting regular testing and troubleshooting to ensure that the user interface is functioning properly and meeting business requirements.Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design and development.Providing support and assistance to other developers on the team as needed.

Job Requirements

Complete understanding of the Magento or AEM software. Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience building custom Magento or AEM themes and knowing the go-to plugins Hands-on experience with GIT/GitHub Experience with React, Angular, or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus Experience with LESS or SASS frameworks Solid command of responsive layoutsUnderstanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themAbility to communicate positively and honestlyStrong work ethic and reliability
