What we need:Good communication and ability to speak to their experience5+ years of experience in front end developmentStrong in React, GraphQL and unit testingHuge plus is things like playwright or cypress & NexJS Position Title: Front End Senior Engineer (Contractor) – Digital Experiences EngineeringLocation: Remote (India)Working Hours: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST – 5 days a week 9 hours a dayResponsibilities:Develop and maintain the UI tier using industry best practices.Collaborate with the product team to understand project requirements and build reusable code and libraries.Optimize applications for speed and scalability.Create technical documentation, including architecture and flow diagrams.Implement rapid updates to meet changing business and marketing needs.Analyze and optimize front-end architecture.Utilize SASS for responsive page layouts and styles.Mentor peers and juniors during brainstorming sessions.Set and evolve standards for application development.Lead efforts in modernizing the frontend UI layer.Collaborate with global teams on technical implementations.Qualifications:BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.5+ years of experience writing semantic, modular front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Familiarity with progressive enhancement and mobile-first responsive design.Experience with browser testing, debugging, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).Proficiency in React, ES6, and unit testing libraries (e.g., Mocha, Jasmine, Jest).Knowledge of React ecosystem tools (Node.js, NPM, etc.).Understanding of React/JavaScript design patterns (MVC, Flux, Redux, Hooks).Familiarity with performance optimization tools.Experience with Monolithic and Micro Frontend Architectures, Microservices, and DevOps principles.Backend stack experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.Demonstrated experience in B2B mobile application development for large enterprises.
