Responsibilities:Collaborate with the product team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Design, develop, and maintain the frontend and backend components of the Request Hub system.Implement user interfaces using NextJS, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.Develop APIs and integrate them with the Request Hub data layer using technologies such as AppSync, GraphQL, and AWS Lambda functions.Work closely with the data pipelines team to ensure seamless data ingestion and processing. Experience with AWS Athena DB and SnowFlake DB is a plus.Contribute to the technical decision-making process, considering factors such as scalability, flexibility, and reusability.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards. Deliver Unit-Test and Test-Coverage for the responsible partsPerform UX/UI designs using Figma, implement the UX/UI designs by using the Roche OneDesign & Roche UI GuidelinesStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively suggest innovative ideas to improve the Request Hub system.Ensure Security & Compliance safe code, using tools to scan the code to vulnerabilities
Requirements:Solid experience in both frontend and backend development, preferably with a focus on serverless architectures, experience with AWS is requiredProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and its modern frameworks/libraries, such as React, NextJS & Google MaterialUI, for frontend development, experience with Roches OneDesign would be a plus.Adherence to clean and secure coding standards. Familiarity with tools/frameworks such as SonarQube, Mend (Whitesource), CodeGuru, CodeWhisperer, etc.Strong knowledge of backend technologies, including GraphQL, AWS Lambda, and serverless frameworks.Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and its services such as S3, Snowflake, Step Functions, EventBridge and CloudFront. If you would have experience integrating with 3rd party platforms particularly MulesoftExperience with data modelling, data pipelines, and working with large datasets would be a plus. You can expect data objects as JSON, Parquet, Avro, CSV & TXT or other formats.Understanding of software development principles, including agile methodologies, version control, and testing frameworks, experience with GitLab, Selenium-Java-based Testing Framework would be needed, experience with Codebeamer (Retina) would be a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions, such as Cognito, to manage user authentication and authorization. Experience with Ping Identity would be a plus.Ability to manage our CI/CD pipeline and usage of GitLab, Terraform & Monerepo.You should have some minimum understanding of monitoring and logging tools as AWS CloudWatch, XRay & Splunk
