The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing user interfaces for our client's groundbreaking data synthesis and anomaly detection/debugging tools. Collaboration with a senior developer and UX designer is integral to success. This role involves building prototypes into production-ready UIs using React, integrating UIs with our client's backend APIs, and visualizing data through libraries like D3.js.Responsibilities:- Develop and enhance user interfaces for data synthesis and anomaly detection/debugging tools.- Build prototypes into production-ready UIs using React.- Integrate UIs with our client's backend APIs and data systems.- Visualize data and anomalies through graphs and visualizations (using libraries like D3.js).- Collaborate closely with a senior developer and UX designer.- Iterate quickly based on user research and feedback.- Potentially work with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python APIs.- Report to a senior developer or CTO/CPO at our clientScope of Work:- Develop a data synthesis UI prototype.- Productize an existing "playground" prototype for data debugging/anomaly detection.- Build off existing templates and codebases.- Integrate with our client's backend APIs and data ingress systems.- Potentially engage in TypeScript or JavaScript development.- Work closely with Max (senior developer) and McKenna (UX designer).- Iterate quickly over the first 3+ months on the two UI projects under their guidance.Key Requirements:- Experience with containerization tools like Kubernetes (a plus).- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and D3.- Background in mathematics (minor or degree).- Passionate about transparent AI and our client's mission.- Humble, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.- Soft skills for building rapport with stakeholders.- Excitement about working for a mission-driven startup and making an impact.Important Considerations:- Urgent timelines necessitate a quick onboarding process.- Preference for local candidates based in Raleigh.- Contract structure flexibility for potential future needs.- Cultural and technical alignment with our client's existing team.If you're passionate about revolutionizing AI and possess the technical prowess and collaborative spirit we seek, join our client in shaping the future of trustworthy AI.
