What We're Looking ForA skilled frontend developer with a flair for creating captivating user interfaces and interactive experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a promising EdTech startup and potentially become part of our founding team!

Role DescriptionThis is a volunteer remote role for a Frontend Developer at Mognito. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing user-facing features, ensuring the application is responsive, and collaborating with Back-End Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The role also involves participating in the software development lifecycle and creating compelling web experiences.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain our React Native-based mobile applicationCreate engaging, interactive user interfaces with a focus on user experienceImplement video animations and game-like activities within the appCollaborate with our backend team and UX/UI designersContribute to the overall product strategy and feature development

Skills We'd LoveProficiency in React Native and JavaScriptExperience with creating animations and interactive elements in mobile apps Knowledge of Frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Flutter, etc)Knowledge of Animation Libraries (e.g., GreenSock, Anime.js, etc)Knowledge of state management (e.g., Redux, MobX)Familiarity with integrating video content into mobile applicationsExperience with game development or gamification is a big plus!Passion for education and technology
